Growing up in an Australian country town, I was sports made and particularly played plenty of AFL football and cricket growing up. After school and weekend were consumed with sport. We played hard, and ultimately now a little older, my body is feeling it.
With a very dodgy left knee, I was left with few sport related or exercise related activates that I could do comfortably. I couldn’t run anymore, but I desperately needed something I could do to stay fit. I borrowed a friend old MTB, and found I could push myself hard. The lower impact of biking allowed me to keep fit.
I’m now obsesses, and get out on the tracks and trails almost everyday. I ride on my own, and prefer to explore the trails and tracks around the Adelaide Hills.
